PROBLEM
In the home environment where a carer looks after a partner or parent who is disabled through illness, age, hearing loss or any other reason, the carer can be restricted in their movement around the home because of the need for the disabled person to summon help.
Generally, only a voice or a bell can be sued to summon assistance so the carer must always be in calling distance of the person.
This arrangement is especially restrictive where the carer wants to move about outside the house.
